K-Pop Nine: A New View on K-Entertainment

So I never did get around to reviewing ‘Idol School’ because I have this thing called a life so I barely have any time for anything anymore, but I’ve been keeping up with the final group a bit. The top 9 girls from the show formed fromis_9, which may be one of the stupidest group names I’ve heard in a while but sure let’s go with it. They haven’t officially debuted yet, but they did just release their pre-release track ‘Glass Shoes’, and, well, it’s something. The aesthetic is what I expected from the group even before the teasers were released. ‘Idol School’ was a not-so-subtle nod to stereotypical j-pop girl group style, so I expected a school girl vibe. So Twice just released their new song “Likey” and it’s great.
